The work that was done was up and down--a few things were good and a few things were so, so bad. They did things like cut drywall and let all the pieces and garbage fall behind the stove--and then just left it all. They made mistake after mistake--and I was being charged by the hour for them to make the mistakes and then repair what they messed up and start over. I went over things clearly with a foreman, and then the workers would show up without the proper supplies. I was charged a high rate by the hour as they drove to the store to buy supplies. They would schedule with me and cancel and then schedule again and show up four hours late."

To refurbish an old wooden front door:
Remove it from the hinges and lay it flat.
