We perform residential and commercial X-ray Fluoresce testing to identify lead based paint. The lead based paint may be on the surface or it may be buried under many coats of additional paint. Our equipment is capable of distinguishing surface lead from buried lead. We test the entire home including all wall surfaces, doors, stairs, floors, cabinets, baseboards, tile.everything that is a permanent part of the home. We are licensed by the State of Minnesota Department of Health. Our services also include testing for renovation contractors, in compliance with the EPA Renovation, Repair and Paint (RRP) Rule. Under this rule, beginning in April 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.
