From my very first phone call, Tim was extremely helpful and eager to assist, clearly explaining the process and answering all of my questions.
Jim visited first to assess the project, and I explained that the work would involve remodeling an existing built‑in furniture unit and transforming it into a functional home office. He fully understood the scope and offered practical input based on his experience.
Jim completed the work on time and to a very high standard, with excellent attention to detail and overall quality. The transformation from the original built‑in to the finished home office exceeded my expectations, both in terms of craftsmanship and functionality.
It was a pleasure working with Tristate from start to finish, and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them.

Exterior Trim - Repair
Hidden fees, gimmicks and falsified labor
Do not work with Tim at Tristate. He bid on a quote we requested through Angi. He disclosed his service fee and that he would have an hourly labor charge depending on the tech he sent. The day before the job, he said he was adding a second guy to get the work done "before the cold snap" -- no other reason was disclosed. The men started work around 9:30am. We have a Ring garage camera that records to the cloud, so it wasn't hard to review their arrival and start time. By 9:43am they left to go pick up a small can of exterior paint and a smaller can of stain. We live 5 minutes from Ace and 15 minutes from Home Depot. They were gone an HOUR and 26 minutes--which I am going to find out only AFTER the job is complete that I would be expected to pay almost $390 in LABOR for that 90 minute road trip for 2 tiny paint cans, as Tim charged $130 per person per hour even for this time in transit--which took far too long given our proximity to stores and

Tim with Tristate Service Home Repair responded quickly to my request for service and had one of the company’s employees scheduled and at my home in good time. Repair work was done professionally and using the right materials for the job. I had additional projects completed as a result of how well the original work was done. Went Very well. I was gling to have loghts repainted but they said it would look better and be more cost effective to put up new lights. And that is whay we did. The lights and cement step Looks great!

Had to replace an ancient Jenn-Air drop-in range with downdraft (installed in 1979) with a new LG duel fuel gas stove/electric oven range slide in. Knew it would take some work. Randy and Dan were great during the installation. Tim was very responsive.
