Hired this company after Hurricane Ian. As soon as I signed the contract the work started and finished in a week. Didnâ t have to wait for city permits and approvals since this company had departments that handled this, as well as insurance claims. My son is a general contractor and said they did a great job on the roof. Bob Bruce was the employee that handled all this and I canâ t say enough good things about him and the way he handled everything when it was a very trying time for me.

I was hesitant to hire because of out of state base and low bid. I came to trust and respect Smoot Hull and hired State Roofing. It was a complex job, involving tear off and replace asphalt shingles on a steep roof with multiple gables and barrel tile ridge caps. Some side wall cedar shake shingles. The crew did a great job and left the site clean. I could not have been more pleased and impressed. I highly recommend State Roofing.

We could not have been more pleased. From the bidding visit to the follow up after the job was completed the owners were on top of every detail. They stayed in constant touch and delivered on every promise. The working crew was fast, efficient and incredibly neat. We are in Lake Charles where , after two hurricanes , affordable roofers and roofing materials are scarce . This company was very fairly priced and delivered on the color we wanted to boot!

Finding a reputable roofing company after 2 back to back hurricanes our area was flooded with roofing companies. I had a total of dozens of no shows and 7 estimates and Mr. Smoot Hull and Mr. Hudson Whitten with State Roofing were the only people that showed when promised, provided an estimate when promised, delivered roofing materials when promised and put roof on when promised and the pricing was right for current rates and not raised sky high when people were desperate for a roof... The installation crew were professional beyond expectation and the job performed over and above my expectations. When completed I think my property was cleaner than when they arrived. The final amount due was what was quoted and no a penny more even when some extra work had to be done....
