Dan Pound is a professional A/V Technician and the founder of Smart Home & More. With over 16 years of experience in the industry Dan launched this company in 2019. He and his team of 4 technicians service the Columbus and Dayton area and are locally based in Westerville Ohio. With over 16 years of expereince, we can provide you with a wide variety of services. We can do a simple TV setup for you and make it easy to use, install a smart doorbell, or even build a custom Home Theater with invisible speakers, and custom lighting. Smart Home & More exceeded my expectations on all the essential metrics: quality, speed, and price. Booked within a few business days right after the holidays, Dan and co. arrived ahead of schedule to mount a 77” TV. Leaving the unit in its original packaging alongside my pre-purchased mount did not slow down the installation. From start to finish, the project was complete. Our TV is stunning, and the price for this service was fair and competitive. I will hire them for future services!

Dan and his assistant Logan were fantastic. Dan was very easy to work with and kept me updated about the installation prior to arrival. Once here, he and Logan worked quickly to get everything done and offered to go over the device app if I had any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend Smart Home and More and I plan to use them again.

As other reviews have stated Dan and Logan showed up on time and immediately got to work on my project they were extremely detailed oriented and explained to me what they were doing every step of the way, they answered all of my questions. We just recently moved into a new house and the current setup was a wall mount and associated wiring on the wall opposite of the fireplace. We really wanted to switch that up to a mount over the fireplace. We not only needed to mount the new TV but also run electric through the wall to cabinet with power on the other side. We wanted to upgrade the sound as well. Dan and Logan accomplished all the above flawlessly with very little lead time. Really love the new setup and plan on having them back out to work on the basement theater system as we finish moving in.

Dan installed a Samsung FrameTV at my home. Prior to the purchase, he came the house to help me decide which size screen was best for the space, and addressed all of my concerns. On the day of the install, his team was on time and prepared. I especially appreciated their attention to detail as they hung the screen. Not a single scratch on the wall and no visible wires! Dan was knowledgeable about how the unit worked and walked me through the setup and function of the Samsung app. I could not be more pleased!

He is the ultra rare combination of both being beyond expectations in knowledge of various aspects of our system, but his ability to be personable and pleasant is a very rare combination! Dan was excellent! It is so nice to encounter someone who is passionate and excited about the work they do - and Dan is one of those individuals! He installed 2 in wall speakers in our mid century house and there were several construction challenges because it’s an old, oddly built place. But Dan troubleshooted and problem solved and made it work - and the sound has never been better. Make sure you have him calibrate and adjust your receiver/sound settings - I thought I had done a good job but he made our system sing! Hire this company without hesitation - amazing results!
