I broke a Skylight in our family's Cabin in St. Elmo, Colorado. Unable to get it fixed until next Spring at the earliest. Problem, we developed a leak in two of our older Skylights. Did not want to destroy a wood floor etc. Called Ian Simon and talked with him. Unlike the other companies, wanting us to wait. IIan Simon Roofing was enthusiastic about the project. We had a problem. St. Elmo Suburbs, are about to get snowed in. Within two weeks, he had visited St. Elmo and ordered the special skylight parts. He also recommended, that we replace part of the flashing on the Roof. That is the area that recently started leaking. Obviously we were about to panic. In about two weeks, he had visited our cabin and took measurements. Then returned to Colorado Springs in order to order the Skylights and roofing materials. He also explained why he was recommending new flashing. An Architech friend of mine explained. That he always orders this new flashing. He said because, it works. Bottom Line, fixed theleaks before they did major damages. Then improved the roof and installed upgraded water proofing.

Ian came surveyed the problem with the leak that was dripping in my garage. He looked and crawled around in my attic, spent time on my roof and then drew me a plan. He was thorough, made sure the job was done well, cleaned up with his crew, kept calling each time it rained to make sure the leak was handled. I got 3-4 bids for the job and he was not the lowest nor the highest. The highest bid from another company was twice the price of Ian Simon's bid. His crew was careful as they worked on my tile roof. . .watched where they walked. Ian himself was confident, easy to explain to me what needed to be, especially a person not knowing too much after roof repairs, He was easy to work with and would take the time to make sure I was satisfied. Extremely flexible ( winter issues) I live at 9000 ft on a mountain top. So high winds and snow events were an issue but due to their flexibility, we got it done. The crew were efficient and great guys. Kudos to Mr. Simon.

They quickly contacted me, and repaired the hole in my roof the very next day as a snow storm was predicted for the day after. They kept me informed and arrived exactly when they promised to be here. They also cut a small tree down for me that was leaning against the roof at no extra cost. They answered all my questions about future full roof replacement.

Simon Roofing was a "Barn Saver" for me! We hired a Roofing Company a few of years ago to do repairs due to wind. That "company" took our money (over $2000) and never stepped foot on our property, we never recovered our losses! We were quite soured over the whole experience. Simon Roofing was a Blessing! Ian exhibited extreme professionalism, a clear and concise knowledge of his business, and excelled in communication skills, "listening" to my concerns about my poor barn that needed some TLC. A 50 x 100ft barn with 14ft sidewalls built about 15 years ago. I really appreciated the pictures and video of repairs made to my barn and house roof. I would never be able to "see" that for myself without his pictures and videos. :) I don't do heights! Out of 3 Contractors, Ian was the only one that actually responded, and communicated and followed thru. Outstanding and refreshing! Ian understood, my need for immediate repairs due to previous wind damage with impending weather and wind. He provided quick and precise quotes with prompt answers to any questions I had.
