About us

Founded in 1926, Parkway has been known for decades as the Drycleaner of the delicate, and the Washington Post named us the PHDs of stain removal. We were named Best Area Drycleaner by both WASHINGTONIAN and Bethesda magazines and we are proud to be the recipient of the Americas Best Cleaners Award. We offer on-site as well as off-site cleaning of drapes and fabric blinds and shades in our newly renovated 10,000 sq. ft. facility in N. Bethesda, MD. PLEASE NOTE - We do not clean hard blinds like wood, aluminum or plastic - but if your blind or shade is any type of fabric, our process is very effective! Take down/rehang services are also available for any project, no matter how small. We do not have to remove the fabric from boards and supports with our delicate injection/extraction cleaning process, so we can clean any kind of drape or elaborate window treatment, along with roman and balloon shades, and we are the leading area cleaner of Hunter Douglas blinds.

Great work, they were quick and able to get the whole room done. Most companies only spot treat for pet stains and still charge a premium. Price seemed high but they did the whole area rather than just spot treat.

Parkway is an amazing-first class dry cleaner. I have used them to clean and hang curtains as well as dry cleaning and altering. Very professional and timely. I have also used them to clean my designer handbags. Made them look like new.

I bought new Sunbrella cushions for my patio furniture last summer - 8 chair cushions and I lounge cushion. I made the mistake of leaving the cushions outside all year uncovered. The dirt on them seemed to be ground in to the fabric. I tried every cleaner recommended on the internet, at least 4 including bleach, and nothing could get the dirt out. I called Parkway cleaners and they assured me they could get them looking like new and they did!!!! I will not make the mistake of leaving them outside all year again, but if somehow they get soiled I will definitely call Parkway!! P.S. The dirt doesn’t looks as bad in the Before picture as it did in real life but the cushions do look like brand new in the After picture
