I called Nansemond Roofing to get an estimate on a repair to my roof caused by wind damage. Steven was prompt, courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. He accessed the damage and provided an outstanding price. He realized that rain was expected and sent an associate out the same day. After a hurricane in July, our 5000 square foot 20 year old roof was in bad shape on the back side. We reached out to Steve (owner @ Nansemond) and he informed us the roof was built as a 30 year roof and the damage incurred was not normal wear. Because of this, we filed a claim with progressive ASI insurance. Initially the insurance company wanted to replace 2 slopes and was willing to pay about 4500$ in damages. After Natalie sent in paperwork and after a little patience, the insurance company decided to replace the entire roof at a cost not including deductible of about 19k. Steve promptly gave us options and got his guys out here to replace our roof. The insurance company only wanted to put roll-on material on the back flat roof over the huge porch but due to the fact he did not want to put in a subpar product that would fail, they upgraded it to TPO product which is top of the line in this application. In total with rotting boards and deductible we now have a 25k roof upgrade and we are out a total of 2,000$. Steve was reachable throughout the process and answered his phone any time I called, which speaks volumes to the care he puts into his company. Anybody who mentions their roof near me will hear about my positive experience with this company, I wish more people cared as much about their customers as Steve.

From the day the owner Steve sat down with us to the job was completed, they stayed in contact with us. Never had to wonder, question or get frustrated as I do with many contractors I have hired in the past. Customer service was a 5 star and nice to know their are companies still out there that take pride in there work.

I had wind damage to the roof of my newly purchased house. Steve went out of his way to work with me and the insurance company so that I got the most for my claim. My new roof and gutters are beautiful! I would recommend Nansemond River roofing over and over. Excellent job and customer service!

Steve at Nansemond River Roofing was extremely professional through the entire process. He walked me through the entire process and set reasonable expectations which were met by his entire team. If there was a hold up due to weather he made sure he called me immediately. This replacement was necessary due to extensive storm damage. I initiated the claim with my homeowners insurance to allow the work to begin. Once I signed with Nansemond River they took on the responsibility of any further communications with my insurance company. This took a load off my back. I would wholeheartedly recommend Nansemond River Roofing to anyone looking for a roof repair or replacement.

This company saved me when no one else would even call me back. They came out the same day as my call and put on an emergency roof covering. Day later they repaired the roof and repaired the damaged siding... They went above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend!

We had a slow leak into the garage, they came out and identified the source of the leak and had it fixed in less than 15 minutes! They even fixed a piece of loose siding that was blowing in the wind while they had the ladder up. Wow, what awesome customer service! I highly recommend these professionals, they know what they’re doing and they certainly took care of us.
