Don was here even before I expected him to get here and I opened the garage and he and another man got all their equipment together and got started. Don sent me a lot of pictures of everything they did and I was very pleased.

David is wonderful , but no there anymore. Since he left, it has been terrible. Pay for a regular water heater and its worth paying money for the extra. They prey on you for money. They was to come and flush it. But they inform me that I can flush it myself. We paid with warranty and you suggest us to flush it ourselves by watching YouTube.

Extraordinary, and I don't use that word often. Another company was supposed to replace my toilets. They were part of the install package from Home Depot. They were over 2 hrs late twice. And both times, they only sent one person to replace and haul away four toilets -- two of which are upstairs. One of the guys even admitted that he didn't feel safe doing this project on his own, and estimated that it would take him over 6 hours. I switched to MET based on my father's recommendation and Angie's List. They were more expensive, but I believe that you get what you pay for. Byron and Eric were amazing. They gave me a quote, then quickly replaced all four toilets in less than 2.5 hours -- including hauling away my other toilets. They left everything clean and pristine. They were very courteous and very professional. And they also fixed two of my faucets that were sputtering water as a bonus! MET as a company was also very professional. I canceled the other company today, called MET, and they sent Byron and Eric the same day. Just in time for a relaxing weekend before New Year's. I couldn't be happier, and will call them again.

Highly recommended. My house was built in 1977 and MET Plumbing (and now Air Conditioning!) has been our family's go-to plumber for many years, including both major (whole house repiping with insulated pex pipes, converting to a scald-free shower, installing water-saving commodes, and more) and minor jobs (post-Harvey plumbing issues, clogged toilets, new water heater, etc.). Today, Paul and Eric did a quick, efficient job of replacing the on-demand hot water recirculating pump (provides hot water within 2-5 seconds from any faucet, particularly with the insulated attic pipes). The new pump even improved on the old one with an overnight timer which will save energy and extend the pump life by being off when we're asleep. With MET Plumbing, customer service is paramount -- Dispatcher Brijahnanew stays in touch with flexible scheduling, constant communication, and following up to ensure we're happy customers. Paul and Eric were on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and touched bases to be sure everything worked before leaving. Honest and reliable and competitively priced (as plumbers go). You may find cheaper providers out there, but MET offers quality work with a guarantee that's hard to beat.

James Conollay was sent to find the problem. He found that that the leak actually emanated from a vent in the roof. He told us that the leak was not plumbing related and did not try to invent a plumbing problem. He told us the truth. All we had to pay was a trip fee that we were told about before the inspection. Additionally, when we called they were booked solid and they were able to "work us in". They went above and beyond to help us. We really appreciated that.

After reading the reviews I gave MET a try and I was glad I did. They arrived and were meticulous in their work. The leak I had took a while to spot due to the location and how small it was. They kept at it and identified the issue. They fixed the leak and I have not had any issues since. There are very professional and punctual which is very important to me. I have been referring them to some of my friends for various plumbing jobs and they have been equally satisfied.

After initial shock of the cost to repair, the scope of the work was proportionate. Tunneling to be able to replace original 40 year old cast iron pipes. Did more pipe replacement that expected, no price increase.

From the first phone call to the main office until the end of the service call, everything about this service could not have gone better. Here at the house, Matt was very courteous, professional, gave very helpful explanations. Willing to answer questions about possible work in the future in other bathrooms, wanted to be helpful in every way. Left workplace very neat.

Very well. Paul and John were right on time when they said they would be. Another company had come out 3 days before for the same problem, supposedly cleaned the sewer line and told me I would have to replace the line because it was damaged. His cleaning job lasted a whole 3 days before the line backed up again.. Paul spent a good deal of time thoroughly cleaning the sewer out and unlike the previous plumber, found the cause of the problem. A piece of chicken wire had made its way into the sewer line and eventually blocked it. So for $300.00 I was saved from having to spend a possible $3000.00 for line replacement. Thats honesty and integrity and the reason I will always call MET before anyone else for my plumbing needs.. Thanks Paul and John

It's 1-year-old house. Called to fix simple stuff on the inspection. (I was selling the house). They spent probably about an hour or so and charged $563. When I asked them about how much theycharge per hour, they replied we don't charge by the hour, instead, by the scope of the work. I was even more shocked because the job they did could have been handled by almost any adult.

Don came out and quickly got the bathtub drain cleared. I had been thinking about new toilets for some time and Don gave me a price and said he had them on the truck and could install them immediately. I decided to do it. He had both toilets installed and everything cleaned up in a couple of hours. I've used MET a few times before and have always been very pleased with their work. Don's a real Pro and MET is lucky to have him! A second plumber showed up about half way through to help him, but I didn't get his name. I have no real basis to evaluate prices except that I know anything that is labor intensive is expensive.

We reached out to MET Plumbing as they were highly rated on Angie's list as a plumbing company in the Houston area. We made a call directly to the company on the day of the incident. We were told that we should expect a visit later that evening. We were later informed that we would need to wait until the next day due to high volume. This was understandable as there was a recent freeze in the area and many were impacted. The next day I was charged $830 by MET plumbing to replace the approximately 4 ft. of galvanized pipe that sprung a pinhole leak right along a path from the water heater into the kitchen. The job took no more than an hour to complete and was rather straightforward. Normally, I would not be so quick to accept the work, but we had been without water and I needed my family to have water on as I would be out of town the following week. After opening two holes in the ceiling that required an extra $380 to repair and paint, they tried to add on an extra $200 for using an extra 2 ft. of Pex pipe in the repair (originally quoted at 2ft. total). I want to stress that last statement again. The plumber, by the name of Victor, informed me that I would need to pay an additional $200 to cover the material cost of 2 feet of Pex pipe *after* completing the repair. I would like to mention this one more time. MET Plumbing thought it fair to charge me $200 for 2 feet of Pex Pipe, after already charging me $830 for initial repair work during a time of need following a freeze. After asking around online, I was informed that this practice is textbook price gouging. All in all, this minor leak cost me a total of around $1,200 in repairs ($830 for plumbing, $370 for ceiling repair and materials ) for an unfortunate leak. Now maybe I am just not aware of how much this approximate hour long routine normally costs. That said, is it normal that a 4ft. Pex install should cost $830? Should 2 feet of Pex material cost $200? I am at least happy to leave this review on Angie's list to serve as a warning to others. This company's representative very clearly attempted to sell me 2 feet of Pex pipe, which nornally costs around .50 cents to $1.00 per foot, for $200, after I was already gouged $830 for a minor leak repair that took less than an hour to complete.

Technician seems to have done an excellent job, was informative, and timely, but they are more expensive than other plumbers. He tried to upsell me a stainless disposal for over $700, including installation. I bought a disposal at Home Depot for $140 and he charged over $300 to install it--it was a simple installation and took less than 30 minutes. They seem to have done a good job (although it was an easy task), but due to their high prices, I won't use them again.

It worked fine for a month, but it's leaking again.
