David replaced the Pentair pump on my above-ground pool, after the old one failed prematurely. He was very knowledgeable and gave me great tips to make sure this pump won't fail on me...he installed fittings that will allow me to easily disconnect and store the pump for winter. Despite a delay from the pump supplier, David stayed on top of the situation and kept me informed on the status. I'm happy to have a pool service that I can count on for my future needs. I found David on Angie's List and hired him to clean my 78-year-old father's pool for the summer because it was getting to be too much for him. It was a Father's Day gift. I received an invoice for the first month and was asked to pay up front. That should have been my first red flag. He was hours late for his very first appointment so it had to be rescheduled for another day. On that day, he went to my house instead of my parent's house. So, he was late again. This got to be a pattern with him. He was frequently late, rarely called or texted to notify anyone of his lateness and sometimes didn't even show up at all - again with no notification whatsoever!!! My parents were left wondering & waiting if he was going to show up or not. There were so many excuses...not feeling well, family emergency, major plumbing reconstruction job, etc. My dad had to clean the pool a few times because David was so unreliable. This guy is basically a one-man operation. He desperately needs to hire some helpers. The billing is confusing. When I received my first invoice, I called to have him explain it to me. There were 4 weeks in the month so it made sense to me that the total divided by 4 would give me approximately what I paid each week. He agreed. The real kick-in-the-teeth came when, again, he did not show up and did not notify anyone and had broken the valve handle on my dad's pump during the prior visit which he promised to replace. We then received word that he would definitely be there the next day between 12-2. Guess what??? That day came & went too!!! At that point, I asked him to just go back, fix the valve handle that he broke & finish the last 2 cleanings he owed me. That's when his billing story changed and he said he doesn't charge per visit!!! I paid for a total of 7 visits according to my calculations. I got 5. He was contacted by both my father & myself regarding the other 2 visits owed and fixing the valve handle he broke. We have reached out via phone calls, e-mails and text messages. He still has not responded to either of us. I would definitely NOT hire this guy!!!! If I could give him zeroes, I would. Any good rating on here for him must have been written by a family member or friend because this guy sucks, he rips people off and I suspect he will be out of business soon. My father has written to the BBB and I plan on sharing this information on EVERY review site out there. Beware!!!

He performed the job as indicated on the invoice. Friendly not professional. Rescheduled a few times. Overall unhappy with level of service.

David has only performed services for the first time today but he has been very polite and responsive when I reached out to him. I look forward to a great swimming season with him helping us out!
