I originally wrote a negative review for Hofman Pools because I was not getting a response to the number I was calling. However, I finally got up with the owner who apologized due to business changes I had an old number. Will did come back and warranty the work he had done previously even after the negative review was posted. Got to give them credit for living up to their word and warranty. Thank you for correcting the issues.

Highly recommend Hofmann Pools, LLC for your pool leak and repair service. I recently experienced up to an inch of water loss per day in my fiberglass pool. I had hired a reputable leak detection agency to identify the source of the leak and they could not find the source of the leak and actually provided a letter certifying my pool did not have a leak. No need to identify the company, just know you can count on Hofmann Pools. If you have a pool leak, call Hofmann Pools FIRST!! Will was awesome in helping to identify the source of my leak â ¦ this was no easy task but he was tenacious in testing which took many trips and various methods but at the end of the day, the source of the leak was found on one of the return lines. My fear was excavation equipment, cutaway of a large portion of my cement deck and major $$ costs. Very pleasantly surprised by Will accessing the return line leak through a minimally evasive 12 inch by 12 inch cement cut on my pool deck to effect the repair at a very reasonable cost. Finished work was excellent. Again, I had a great experience with Will and Hofmann Pools and recommend them as your first call for pool leak services.

Nice enough people but they were not prepared to take on my pool and de-green it. They claim they completed the de-green but the pool was not clear or usable. They also rendered unnecessary services. At the point where I was going to move forward with a new filter and pump, they cancelled the work and we parted ways. They should have assessed the issues upfront and they failed to do so. I am very glad that we parted ways and have found better services and pricing elsewhere w/ a different pool company.

Our nightmare is over; however, we would like to prevent someone else from the same problems that we experienced with Hofmann Pool. We were matched with Hofmann Pool in March 2021. Will Hofmann came out within 2 days to look at the repairs we needed to our in ground pool. He seemed very knowledgeable and confident about all we needed fixed. He returned a few days later with his concrete contractor, that would be doing some of the work. He was also very knowledgeable and based on our conversations, we contracted with Hofmann Pool. We previously had some work done on our pool, that had dragged out time-wise. We expressed our concerns with the timeline and asked that a finish date be put in the contract. On March 5th we signed the contract and paid 1/2 of the final amount. Will assured us that the work would begin the last week of March and be completed by the first week of April. After many texts and calls work finally began in late April. Our pool pumps had been shut down for a month, due to a leak and the promise that work was going to begin when originally stated. At this point, our pool was green and frogs were living in it. After many more texts and promises, work began again in May. When it came time to put the liner in, the final step, Will told us that it was delayed and we needed to reorder with another company, which we did that day. He gave us a 2-week timeline for delivery. Will texted us numerous times after we signed the contract, saying he would be out to measure for the liner. He did not show and did not contact us to say he would not be coming. Had he measured earlier, as he said he would do, the liner would have been delivered and ready for installation weeks earlier. We had family visiting for Memorial Day and Will told us numerous times he would have the liner installed **come Hell or High water** As the holiday weekend approached, I texted to ask when he would be installing and he very nonchalantly let us know that the pool would not be ready. It took another 4 weeks after we ordered the 2nd liner for the liner to arrive, which was the beginning of June. Again, texts as to when it would be installed and work completed, missed appointments, helpers calling out sick, etc., etc. Work was finally completed June 12th, 2 months after contract promise date. The final straw was when he miscut during the liner installation and had to patch 2 areas of the brand-new liner. We expressed our concerns with the longevity of the liner, and the patches holding up. Mr. Hofmannâ s lack of **concern** over the miscuts were disheartening to us. After all the delays, the promises of him showing up and not doing so (with no text or call saying he would not be showing), we were very disappointed that he brushed it off with an **I am sorry, I will fix it**. At this point, we were beyond over everything. We forcefully asked that he return the next morning and please be finished. I asked him to please make us his first appt. as we were anxious to have him complete and the mess (old liner was lying beside the pool for a few weeks). More times than we can count, he told us he would be here to work the first thing in the morning only to show up hours later stay an hour and leave. We believe HomeAdvisors vetting process needs a lot of work. We can honestly say we would never recommend HomeAdvisor to anyone. We also would never recommend Hofmann Pool to so much as repair a kiddie pool.

Will did a great job on installing a new heater for our pool! He has also been accommodating when I’ve had questions or helped me troubleshoot problems with the pool.

Came immediately and fixed problem immediately! Couldn't have been better!

Would definitely recommend for pool cover installation and pool closing. Scheduling was a little difficult, but I did wait until prime time for my request.
