Drywall - Repair
The word disaster follows this handyman at every turn. He was hired to install a shower door, move a piece of furniture and patch drywall. When it comes to the furniture, other than I had to life half the furniture and my 78 yr old mother had to also assist in moving the furniture that got done. The wall patches, were patched, except he used caulk? when it came to the shower. I?m not sure he ever installed one before. He said he installed hundreds. But that was hard to believe. I?m not sure if the results were from laziness or incompetence. I know some of it was my fault for letting him go before I found some of his errors but, I was so ready to be done with him and his terrible body Odor, I really just wanted him gone. If you look at the results photoed. 1. He left the retaining piece of plastic 6 inches high so water leaks out the bottom. He was told of this 15 minutes after he finished the job. "Their house was a disaster. There was moving boxes everywhere you could barely move or walk in that house anywhere they told me they were getting the same exact shower door that I removed that was a lie, and when his mother proceeded to try and stick to the lie. Aaron clarified that she said yes it?s the same when that was not the truth. . I had currently asked for more money and he refused so I refuse to come back."

The work took longer than it should because they would show for 3 or 4 hours at max and take 1 hour or more for lunch. They would say a time they would arrive and then message twice to arrive 2 hours later. Many days they didn?t even show up and always had an excuse to not show up. After giving them 1/2 the money and they asked for more I told them no more until job was done since they barely put effort when they were here. They would sit and talk or say they were going out to lunch shortly after arriving at noon or later. They then cancelled a few days until they insisted to show up on a Sunday morning and rushed to finish the job half ass to get paid and leave. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PERSON YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED

John came by to look over some small projects I needed to have done. The main thing I needed was to have some previously purchased grab bars installed in two bathrooms. Before performing the installations, John came up with several useful suggestions that never even occurred to me. And to my pleasant surprise, he said he could do everything now as opposed to returning later. He did an amazing job and didn’t take long at all. I recently moved into my home and have been looking for a good handyman. I definitely have found one!
