Recently, I had the pleasure of working with John Gezik, president of Great Environmental, and his support team. I was extremely impressed with their expertise and dedication to serving the community. When I reached out regarding my situation, John immediately responded. Great Environmental arrived early the next morning, assessed the situation, and explained with clarity and professionalism what was required. Upon my approval, the team immediately went to work to remedy the situation. What I learned through this process is that many may have the technical skills required to complete a job; however, there are those graced with the technical skills, professionalism, and commitment to complete the job in a timely manner. On my behalf, John reached out and escalated the installation of my new furnace. Yes, I have heat!!! What initially appeared stressful, gave way to a calm assurance upon meeting John Gezik. Excellent! It is a Family owned business. Matt is very personable and explained everything with the whole process. I needed someone right away, and he genuinely seemed like he wanted to help. He fit us in his schedule immediately, even right before Memorial weekend. We got results very quickly, within 2-3 days and we were able to move along closing on our house. I would definitely recommend them as well as the testing for your home.

I don't know what I would have done without John. I am battling the renovation of a 1950s house. With it comes many issues. John has stepped in and stepped up, to help ease my worries and put a plan into place to make the house safe and in tip-top shape. What I really appreciate is that he's not an alarmist. He will give you his honest, professional assessment, even if it means he walks away not making a single dime. But he also listened to my concerns and helped me put a plan in place. Is this business even open any more? I've tried calling several times and the phone rings twice and then there is silence. There is an option to contact them on their website, but when I leave my info and click submit, nothing happens. Can anyone recommend another service similar to this one? The mold smell is coming out of my hvac ducts again. I'm in the Joliet area .

Everything was done professionally, left for 21/2 hours. I came back to clean return ducts. Did not realize that the other vents did not contain abestos. I remembered all vents, return or otherwise being counted.

Recently bought a house with mold in the crawl space. John went above and beyond to get us into our house as soon as possible. Even worked on a Saturday to get us into our new home. Would highly recommend him and his company to everyone with mold issues. Thanks John and crew!!!

John came out to inspect our old house for asbestos. We thought there might be something there and indeed John found it. He offered a number of solutions, and rather than selling a service just to sell, he spent time to educate and strategics about the best treatment option. We haven't committed to full removal but are grateful for John's expertise and patient outline of options.

John pointed out that mold spores are always present in all homes. The problem arises at what level and more specifically what type of spores are present. After visual inspection and a number of questions he asked of me, he did not seem overly concerned about my situation. He gave me the option to proceed with the testing for my own peace of mind. I opted to proceed. The results turned out a low mold count. I appreciate Johns honest and candid assessment. I recommend his services.
