"At this time, I am unable to identify this inspection, as I have not used HomeAdvisor for lead generation in quite some time and there is no identifying information associated with this review. If this was an actual client, I would welcome the opportunity to speak directly and address any concerns. Gortney Home Inspections follows the North Carolina and South Carolina Standards of Practice, which require a comprehensive evaluation of all readily accessible and visible systems and components of the home. My reports include extensive photographic documentation, system testing, and detailed narratives addressing structural components, roofing, exterior, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, insulation, and interior systems. The purpose of thorough photo documentation is to clearly support findings and provide transparency?not to focus solely on cosmetic issues. Clients are encouraged to attend the inspection and ask questions during or after the process. I remain available after report delivery and routinely offer virtual report review meetings via Google Meets to discuss findings in detail. Many inspections include well over 150 photos and several hours onsite to ensure proper evaluation in accordance with state standards. If this review is legitimate, I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to discuss it directly. My goal is always to provide a thorough, standards-based inspection and clear professional guidance so clients can make informed decisions. Terry Gortney, PE Gortney Home Inspections LLC"
