"I am sorry you were displeased with your home inspection. As I recall, your inspection was for information purposes only, and in spite of the numerous, serious mechanical and structural issues identified in the house (all of which are documented by photographs and in writing in the 52-page inspection report), you decided to move forward with the purchase of the house. In addition, several issues identified in the attic and of the roof were documented in writing and via photograph in the report (which would have been difficult to provide if we had not gone into the attic or on the roof). In some cases, it's not safe to walk on a roof (for the inspector or the roof) so we use visual observation as well as attic inspection to identify issues. In this case, you may remember, you actually accompanied me while I inspected the attic but left the inspection early so missed out on some crucial aspects of the review, including the roof inspection. I am more concerned that you have never reached out to me since the inspection last summer, yet felt compelled to write a review. I have, however, been contacted by your wife and assisted her in turning on the heat to the house when the weather turned cold. Again, we are truly sorry that you were unsatisfied with our work.
