We hired Susana and her team to clean our house, a historic home, newly renovated. The team of 5 women works hard, but is not attentive or thorough. Susana leaves them to work unsupervised. They contaminate countertops by leaving trash cans on them. They do not leave things the way they found them. They do not clean under sofas or beds unless you supervise them, and on one visit, they used a viscous liquid to clean the oven (which is a self-cleaning oven), and it dripped on the floor, damaging the hardwood floor. Susana promptly paid for the $100 repair but then insinuated that we ourselves had caused the damage. In fact, we had never used chemicals to clean the oven. On the last visit, a few days ago, Susana's team cleaned the bathroom and damaged the finish on the escutcheon plate of the shower control handle. Susana got very upset when we called her to report this, focusing more on how much money she had already lost by filing the previous insurance claim. We would not recommend this service if you want a thorough, efficient, and well-trained staff.

"She hired us to clean her house for first time and both owners were home 5 girls arrived and they cleaned for 5hrs, so if we multiply 5x5= 25 hrs that's how long it took them just to be thorough. The homeowners said everything was fine and they were very happy with the cleaning. As far as my presents to inspect work after the fact I have a lead and she makes sure everything is done to every customers satisfaction, after the first cleaning it was the very next day they emailed me and told me that the girls damaged their floors so I called my girls and asked them about it and they said it was already there but I called my insurance and filed the claim without hesitation and per customer satisfaction and my insurance provider took care of it. Before my insurance took care of it, they asked the homeowner to get their own estimate and when they presented it they had added more than reported initially and had added a bunch of other repairs WEIRD RIGHT?? But after a phone call my insurance paid for the 3 small spots they claimed we damaged. They did say the cleaning was done as expected and to their satisfaction. The 3rd cleaning she requested in her email how important it is for us to pay very special attention to the shower wall and they should be spotless and shiny. So we went and did the cleaning and the very next day they emailed me to tell me that the girls weren?t thorough and shoes were not put back in order & other stuff they moved to clean, So how could we have taken time to move all this stuff to clean but yet they weren?t thorough?? Also She requested that I open a insurance claim for a damaged escutcheon plate with the chemical we used to clean, so how come only 1 plate got damaged if they have 5 bathrooms and they all have metal or something with the silver polish? I use the same chemicals in every single house we clean and most of the bathrooms have some kind of escutcheon silver polish and we have NEVER EVER run into this problem? To me this is pattern and unfortunately I felt and told her that I was sorry but I was not responsible for the damage, I can see they are trying to get their nice historic fixtures fixed at my expense ( which by the way not the whole house has been renovated ). I'm sorry they are disappointed and they feel they can not recommend us but we really worked very hard to help them. Please feel free to read all the other reviews & ask me for references."

It was great interior house cleaning work perform by Susana and her team. They need very little instructions for their work start to finish. When the work was done it's hardly any chemical smell because they less dependent on cleaner instead hard work. The house almost Dust Free. Thanks !!!!!

The only thing I would say is I made a point about the spider webs. I have high ceilings and I can't get to them. They left some in one of the sky lights. It's the most seen one in the house.

The young ladies came in introduced themself, I showed them where to start. And they worked very little talking, only asked me a few questions. Two hours later they were finished. I loved what and how they cleaned. Yes I will have them back

First Impressions saved me during a very chaotic, bust week, Susanna answered my request almost immediatley. Her quote was reasonible - she was okay with form of payment request (check came from "accountant" in Chicago) - her housekeepers showed up on time - stayed until my house was SPOTLESS - everyone was sooo nice and polite - I can't wait to have them start coming every week!! First Impressions is fabulous and worth every penny for a move in cleaning!!

I hired First Impressions to come in and do heavy spring cleaning as a one time job. Three women showed up and were very efficient. They cleaned my entire condo (including refridgerator and oven) in three hours. Everything looked wonderful. It was so good I am strongly considering having them come in once a month.

Three people came to clean our home after we moved out. We were there for portions of the cleaning and from what we observed they did what they were asked to do. They were not particularly efficient, but they were helpful; they did bag up a few of our remaining items, without being asked, which we appreciated. However, the next occupants discovered an issue with the toilet that we believe was related to the cleaning. First Impressions was unwilling to accept any responsibility and only after several phone calls did they even offer some reimbursement. We tried to explain our position in good faith, but we felt that good faith was not returned.

Mike was VERY, VERY responsive. He called me within a couple of hours of me posting and came to meet with me later that same evening to give me a quote and to discuss my needs. He promised me that I would be taken care of within five days (their schedule was full) and I was SO VERY SURPRISED when I came home to a clean house the next day! I'm a single-parent of an autistic child and have a very demanding job, to have this support at a moment's notice was quite relieving! He even spent time talking with my son to make him feel more comfortable. They got my business!

Mike promptly came to the house to give me an accurate estimate. They graciously rearranged their schedule to accomodate my immediate needs for cleaning. The work was excellent. The house has never been so clean!

The team arrived on time and went right to work. They did everything that I had listed that I wanted done plus a few other things that needed to be done. They worked together as a team, but worked in separate locations doing their tasks indepently. They did not overlap their work and they had everything they needed to complete their work. My house looked great and smelled even better. I was extremly pleased with their work and plan to have them back at least once per month.

They did an excellent job. The two women showed up on time and worked very hard for 4 solid hours. My house sparkled when they were done. The job was very complete! They moved everything out and really cleaned all surfaces--even my grungy toaster oven! MY husband and I are very happy with the service and are planning on using First Impressions on a regular monthly basis. This is a top notch, very professional company.

A team from First Impressions cleaned our house beautifully today. They were efficient, thorough, and friendly. I'd been worried that our large dog and many hobbies would make our house impossible to clean but they easily took care of it. I am so glad to have their help and have hired them for continuing help.
