They did a good job on our installation of a security camera system. What they did very, very badly was create a quote that was way lower than what it actually ended up costing. Beware of this if you are considering using them! They will cover themselves by saying it?s a ?rough estimate? in order to capture your business?but in our experience, they certainly knew how far they were driving (Clackamas to Hillsboro)..yet the travel costs were roughly triple what was quoted. The original estimate to install a camera system that cost $1,500 was $1,850. I was a little shocked at the estimate..but it ended up being similar to the other quote that I received. The actual invoice came in a little over $2800! No warning that it was going to be way over..and they had an answer for everything?kinda like they?d done this before. Again, the work was good, but there is now way I?d ever use this outfit again or recommend them to anyone I know!

I needed to swap my security camera network out for a new one, and had some specific requirements that Iâ  d compiled from several years of experience with using security cameras. Efficient Communication Solutions responded quickly to my request for information on the services they provide. Don, one of the co-owners, visited and listened carefully to my wish-list for a new system. We went through many options and configurations and found one that met my needs for a reasonable price for the equipment and installation. The two-person crew who did the actual installation were great. James and Jacob came prepared, did top notch work with installing all the cabling and cameras, all while being a delight to work with. There were no corners cut, no sloppy work, they paid careful attention to details, and the final result is a neat, professional installation. The NVR configuring was completed and tested, and they explained the settings and usage clearly. The scheduling of the installation was less than 2 weeks out after signing a contract and the work was done in just over 3 days. I want to also mention that James and Jacob were very careful when around my cats, not letting them outside, and not scaring or disturbing them. Their efforts were greatly appreciated. On a scale of 1 to 10, the work ECS did on this system was a solid 10. There is a catio/sunroom project in the works, and after itâ  s completed, I will be using ECS to install additional cameras around the new structure - no question about who I will call to do the work.

Don was nice at the beginning when we discussed and decided to hire their company for install 8 cameras in our restaurant. The cameras are working as of June 2022, when they were installed. However, when we have incidents like the one that happened on 1/19/23, we find out that the cameras are not recording properly; they are recording hit-and-miss. The cameras did not record the whole time, especially when the suspect broke into the business and ran away. I contacted Don, requesting a technician to check the cameras, in the hope they would troubleshoot the camera and help us find out why the cameras are not recording properly. Don blamed the Lorex camera, and he said his company is not responsible for the camera not recording properly. He stated that he will send a technician to test our camera for a fee of $90 per hour plus $55 for fuel surcharge and travel expenses. It is ridiculous. Per their contract agreement, there is a 1-year ECS warranty on ECS labor or workmanship. I discussed this warranty with Don. He refused to send a technician to do troubleshooting or help us find out why the cameras they installed are not recording properly. All they want is money, but no customer relationship. It is extremely frustrating when cameras do not record when a theft or crime occurs. We need security camera installation because we want to see recordings of activities when strangers break into businesses, steal, commit crimes, and so on. After talking with Don this morning, I decided to change my review of ECS. They are not helpful.

They do great Work!

We had a six-camera system installed because of problems with nearby homeless camps. Don and his team were outstanding. Don did a thorough walk-through and made sure we were comfortable with camera locations, and James and Charles were professional and extremely knowledgeable with the actual installation. James gave us a detailed tutorial on our computer and phone set-ups The project came in on time and exactly on budget. We're delighted with the way this company approached, and then performed, on this project. Five stars!

The combination between Don's attention to detail during the quoting phase and the professional hand off to James who led the installation to the quality of work was outstanding! I wish more service companies operated and acted like this team! Very impressive!
