My AC quit cooling. I was told I had a leak and the condenser motor was bad. Motor was 719.00. For the leak I was told I needed a leak test would be $200 to $600. If leak is at coil it would be $3000.00 So best to go with new AC Unit quoted at $12200.00. I had my neighbor who previously owned a AC company that he sold come over to make sure I was being steered correctly. The Motor was bad, We ordered one online for $89.00 and a capacitor for $9.84 . He hooked up his gauges and said there is no leak and the system was full of Freon.

Guys got out fast! Check Freon prices on your unit. I thought I was running r22 and really I was at 410a which they charged 85 a lb for which is absurd. Definitely shop that price. And of course the guy tried to sell me a new unit for 5500. (2 ton trane) Also absurd pricing. I am a little disappointed they would not even try and find the leak. I guess the expensive contractors do not fix they just replace units. For future repairs, I will try another company.

I asked Delta Air to come out after my home warranty company sent one of their recommended HVAC contractors to my home for a tune-up. That HVAC contractor made some outlandish claims that would have resulted in $1000+ out of my pocket for their "recommended repair." They also practically refused to go into my attic to inspect the air-handlers (I have two units). I asked Delta Air to "come in blind" just to see if their findings were ANYTHING like the HW HVAC contractor's. (They weren't.) Delta advised me that my system was running optimally and the only thing I really needed was a coil cleaning on the outside heat pumps. Delta Air DID go into my attic to inspect the air-handlers. Well, low-and-behold!!...one of the drain lines was clogged (badly) and we were just a couple of quarts away from the primary and secondary drip pans being completely full. Had it gone much further, we would have had a VERY expensive repair from water damage. Delta Air cleared the clog after a pretty long battle with it. So glad I called them. I paid for a 3 year maintenance contract with Delta Air, on the spot. Piece of mind for $190/year. My home warranty company has refused to cover the repair made by Delta Air and I'm probably going to just cancel my contract with them. I'm in my 5th year of paying them (~$2500 total), and have a grand total of ONE claim for a dishwasher. Pretty sure home warranties aren't worth it. But a personal relationship with a professional contractor like Delta Air is money in the bank.

They were terrific to work with, they were fast, reliable,did what they said they would at the price they said they would, showed what needed to be done and explained it, would hire them again.

needed annual maintenance check. came in and they made recommendations to clean the coils. the cost was too much but they worked with me and we came to a deal that I would get the coils cleaned and 3yrs of maintenance (2x a year) for $450 (3yr maintenance is normally $570ish, and to clean the coils alone was $300~). overall, satisfied with the deal and peace of mind for the future. I'm a 1st time homeowner and having peace of mind regarding my a/c is a great feeling. :)

Comment: Terrible company. My unit is less than 2 years old and has already needed fixed twice. They said I had a 10 year parts and labor warranty which they back tracked on claiming both people who took care of me no longer work for the company. Aaron came out Sunday, July 15th, 2018 to "supposedly" fix my unit then told me he will charge me $110 per pound for freon that costs $7 per pound. Plus, he was NOT going to fix the unit from the underlying purposes that ARE covered under manufacturer warranty. So then he decided it would be a good time to try and sell me a TRANE unit when I just purchased this new unit from Delta (his company) less than 2 years ago. Carlos claims he doesn't make the units but he also does not take care of his customers. Carlos claimed it would take $1200 to fix the issue after I called him and his employee out for their lack of ability to fulfill my 10 year warranty. I don't TRUST this company to do any more work for me. I will have another A/C company out to verify their truthfulness . $70 and 30 minutes later, another A/C repair company fixed the $1200 problem. I would never use this business if I knew their character at the beginning.

They arrived on time and completed the work quickly. I needed to replace the capacitor which was 12 years old. I’m happy to know that my ac is now in great shape and I have a maintenance plan should any problem occur.

Terrible follow through. I'm sad I picked them.
