David did a wonderful job on our home inspection! We were not in the area during the inspection and he went above and beyond to make sure we were fully informed of all issues! Mr. David Wilkey was excellent in communication skills. He explained the whole process of a complete home inspection. You used pictures to illustrate safety issues. Areas needing to be updated. Working HVAC systems water heater, plumbing issues. He color coordinated present building standards. His reports are very thorough and detailed. I am utilizing his report as a punch list. To ready the property for sale. Overall excellent in all categories. He comes highly recommended.

The recommended inspector from the real estate agent was a little high for our budget so we came to Home Advisor, Daivd immediately responded by phone. This was good becuase it was after 5 and we needed to figure the inspection out quick. The quote was almost half the price as the other. He was so nice and explained everything, the documents were all sent though an online portal to sign and we were at the home that week for the inspection. He allowed me to walk with him and ask any question I wanted while he did his work which was so helpful becuase I learned a lot about scheduled maintainence that I didnt know before. I cannot stress enough with how satisfied we were with his work. He was on time, the report came quick, and the overall experience was so easy, I highly recommend David for home inspection.

David worked with our schedule to come out when we would be available. Mentioned all concerns, even if they were small. Showed pictures, videos and examples of what problems should look like. Great personality and attitude. Even though he had to work on Mother s day. Definitely refer David for home inspections!

I personally did not get to meet Mr.David....I did get to speak to him though. Mr. David looked into my main concern about this property he inspected. On top of that he looked into something i had not even thought about when it came tonlooking into the foundation of the property He gave a very thorough report and findings of the house. He was BEYOND helpful, i will surely use him for a future home inspection as well as refer him to anyone shopping for a home. He saved me thousands!he really did make me feel as if he inspected his mothers home as he looked at things i say inwouldve never thought to look into. RELY ON AT YOUR OWN PERIL! David inspected our home and seemed to be very thorough. He was super nice and seemed to pick out the most minor issues to warn us about on our report. We had him out 3 times (all which we paid for) to confirm repairs for items he had noted on his report. He told us on each of his visits that our house was 99% great and the things that he pointed out were minor and we were doing great purchasing our home. On day 2 of us living in our new home, both washer faucets needed to be replaced. The plumber who came out was shocked it had been missed. That was $400. We choose not to contact him because we still believed that he had done a good job and just missed something. Now 3 weeks in, we have had AC and Plumbing professionals to the house. Both immediately informed us that inspector had missed obvious things that include intentional deception, illegal patchwork and dangerous conditions which all should have been easily identified by a professional inspector on a purely visual review. Meaning he would not need to have superior technical knowledge other than his inspector training. When we contacted him, he played confused and passed guilt on to those we had done the work. They are clearly at fault but he missed the huge point that he was hired (came out 3 times) to point out subpar work and he did not, which makes him at fault as well! We have 3 young kids and his malfeasance as put us in harms way and will cost us at least 5k to repair. He was very nice but he did not do his job! Oh, I forgot the sprinkler does not work and he did not even note that! Good luck! We are appalled!

Pricing was affordable. His report was long but not specific, not detailed about things.

Mr. Wilkey arrived early for the inspection and was very courteous and encouraged my family to ask questions. He was very knowledgable and was able to provide the report by the end of the day. Would definitely recommend him to family and friends needing an inspection.
