Inspector was professional, grounded, and kind. I appreciated that he spoke frankly regarding the home issues and did not speak over my head. All of the information is actionable and we received some additional color regarding issues found as I walked around with him. He was extremely thorough but did not take up too much of my time. His report is an invaluable resource for our road map to get the house in order. We feel like we will not be wasting our budget on frivolous upgrades before structural and technical issues are complete now. I am extremely pleased with our decision to utilize Briton Contracting as our first step towards fixing up and selling our home.

Before signing a purchase agreement on an older, fixer-upper home, I requested home inspection quotes through Home Advisor. That same day I received a call from Vince, the owner of Briton Contracting. He spent time answering my questions and explaining the inspection. Less than a week later, the inspection was done and the detailed report, with pictures and explanations, were in hand. He promptly answered all my follow-up questions as well. Vince does great work and cares about delivering a good work product to the customer. Most importantly, his knowledge and thoroughness gave me the ability to make the right decision. Vince was the first to QUICKLY respond to my inquiry about needing a home inspector. He literally called me within 15 minutes which really impressed me. As a first time home buyer, I was afraid I was going to be taken advantage of with the whole process but I was quickly put at ease when I talked to him on the phone. He clearly explained his pricing and what all it would include. On the day of the inspection, my fiance and I arrived at the house a little before our scheduled time to start and he was already there surveying things.
