Thad was fantastic. Came last minute on a Holiday weekend. Great communication, had all the parts with him. He needed to use a step stool and my vacuum, which is fine, just might be helpful to know if he's working on your dryer. He also answered my questions about whether I should keep or get a new unit, how best to use it, etc.

He answered my call. It happened to be a holiday weekend. I was so thankful!

Thad was very responsive (less than 24 hours from my phone call until repair was complete) and was able to fix both of my 1962 double wall ovens which were no longer heating. Easy to work with, came with the parts required (replacement heating elements). I highly recommend Apple Appliance.

When I called Apple Applicance Service, Thad asked me to describe the problem so he could be prepared for the likely service needs. He was able to schedule the service promptly and, when he arrived, he fixed the problem quickly. Excellent service and a friendly service technician. I would definitely call Apple again!

Thad had excellent customer service and communication. He kept me informed all along the process. He showed up on time and was able to anticipate possible parts needed and fixed our Samsung dryer on the spot! He was lightning fast and would definitely recommend him to anyone needing appliance repairs. I’m super happy with his service!

The noise is gone and it is drying faster than before.

Thad did an excellent job. My dryer is located on top of a washer in a small closet making it difficult to access the back which had to be done in order to access the area needing repair. He was very professional. I am grateful that he came out on Saturday after my rather frantic call on Friday. He was very professional. Very professional and competent. I would hire him again.

The owner, Thad, came to our home on time as scheduled. We was very fast and thorough in removing parts to the dryer and analyzing the problem. He replaced the pully and shaft, and lubricated the new parts. Once new parts were installed and everything pulled out was reinstalled, the dryer worked smoothly and perfectly. I was impressed by Thad's knowledge and work ethic. Great job!

The technician from Appliance Forensics Northwest was personable and thorough. Our Magic Chef part to repair the dishwasher is no longer available so we’ve opted to get a new Bosch dishwasher. The technician also found that there was a problem with the dishwasher when it had initially been installed in 1987 during a kitchen remodel that could actually have caused a fire. We are grateful that he found the problem. Good response by the technician and excellent customer service from an employee who called me and put us in touch with the tech.

I called Tuesday evening, Thad answered, scheduled an appointment for Wednesday. He gave me a window of time when he'd be here, called 10 minutes prior to showing up. He diagnosed the issue within about 10 minutes. Unfortunately for me, the diagnosis was that my 30 year old washer needs to be replaced. He then gave me some pretty good recommendations on which types of washers he would recommend.

Technician answered the phone, set a time, showed up per schedule, fixed the problem, inspected and cleaned the machine, offered some advice on how to improve dryer performance. All much appreciated.

Repair went well and resolved the issues I was having. Only surprise was when the technician/owner presented the bill ($480) and informed that he 'does not take credit or debit cards, only cash or check'. Cash? Wrote a check and that worked but that would have been something to share up front. Cards are pretty universally accepted and without notice beforehand it could have been an awkward moment once the work was completed. There's nothing on their website about only accepting cash or checks. On the plus side, I called on a Friday and he came out next day, on Saturday.

Outstanding service and customer communication and tutoring.

Thad did an awesome job repairing my fridge. It had a frozen and clogged drain. He called 15 mins prior to coming and showed up exactally when he said he would. He was polite professional and very knowledgeable. I will call him again should any other issues arise in the future very happy.

Fabulous service- arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the unit within 30 minutes! Thad was very informative, discussed the ice maker he was using as a replacement and guidance on how to increase the efficiency of the ice maker. He even helped me empty the freezer before he took it apart! Thanks Thad. The dogs also thought you were efficient, and will enjoy their ice cubes!

The repairman/owner arrived 1/2 hr before the end of the 3 hour window. He took 17 minutes to unplug the drain (which included time talking about the issue). He only used a turkey baster with a small tube ducktaped to the end, hot water, and an electric screw driver to take off and replace the back panel. It unclogged - great. However, he did not remove the pan at the bottom of the fridge, which is probably full of gunk. He said it was unnecessary, and I'd never have a plugged drain again. (???) How can he say that? And, considering that he charges in 1/4 hour increments (and since we were over by only 2 minutes, yet we were charged an extra $39) he could have taken that time to do a thorough job. When I asked him to explain the total ($160) he got defensive and gruff. Most repairmen I have worked with would have forgiven the extra 2 minutes, especially if they want repeat customers. Well, I guess I must just consider it an expensive lesson, as I can certainly do it myself next time - with my own turkey baster!

Excellent! I called just before 7:00 p.m. on 6-12-18 and left a message. I was pleasantly surprised that Thad (the owner) called me back less than one hour later and I was elated that he was able to come out the very next day. I had called Sears first (where I had purchased the freezer over 20 years ago). Their earliest "emergency appointment" was 11 days out. All the food in this large freezer would have spoiled by then. Thad gave me a 4-hour appointment window and arrived within 3 hours. I appreciated that he committed to call about 15 minutes before he would arrive and did so. He was very knowledgeable about the product and expertly diagnosed the problem. He walked me through what he was doing and his findings as they occurred. He also shared with me that while most coils are on the sides of stand-up freezers, mine are installed in the back. He showed me by having me touch the back of the freezer and compare that heat against the coolness of the sides of the freezer. During the repair, Thad found a small leak and added sealant to repair the leak. While he worked, I told him how concerned I was that the food would spoil if there was ever a problem that couldn't be fixed and I had to buy a new freezer. Thad shared a method that I could use in the future that would hold the food for about 2 days, thus allowing me to replace it if/when needed (it is, after all, 22 years old). Thad also de-iced the interior bottom grate, where a little ice had built up because of the problem. He put all the shelving back, pushed the freezer back in place, with his recommendations of not to put it too close to the garage wall, especially because the coils are in the back, and re-adjusted the feet so that the freezer was properly balanced. Thad did an excellent job, was so responsive, didn't mind me hovering and asking questions, thoroughly explained his findings and resolutions and then also gave me an unexpected discount on labor because I had found him on Angie's list. He solicited this information to ensure that he gave me the discount. I had no idea it was available and would not have known had he not given it to me. As Thad worked, I also asked him about worse-case scenarios and resolutions and I appreciated his guidance given certain situations, such as a failed compressor. After Thad left, I had a follow-up question and left him a message on his cell. He called me back within a short period of time and was happy to address my question. Based on the quality of service that Thad provided, his knowledge, expertise, honesty, integrity and responsiveness, I have now been lucky enough to find an appliance repair company that I can rely on for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend Apple Appliance Service to anyone in need of assistance.

The refrigerator we own (a GE Profile) suddenly stopped working; the freezer began to thaw and the refrigerator compartment to drop in temperature, although it sounded like the appliance was still running properly. I contacted Apple Appliance Service the morning after I discovered this and they scheduled me for an appointment the next morning between 11 am and 1 pm. After carefully pulling the refrigerator out of its bay in the cabinets, he was able to confirm that the compressor relay had overloaded (most likely due to heat trapped in the bay behind the refrigerator, and dust in the compressor coils underneath). He explained the problem to me, had parts on hand to fix it, and gave me some great tips on how to care for the refrigerator (this is our first house, i.e. first time not renting!) and keep it running well. I really appreciated the time he took preparing for the job, the care he exhibited when dealing with our flooring and the less-than-easy to access location of the fridge, and his overall friendly and polite demeanor!

Everything went better than expected. Not only would I hire them again, I highly recommend them to others. Our fridge stopped working properly and the ice maker hadn't worked in years. He reset the fridge to factory settings, replaced a part and came back again to replace the ice maker. It works like new. We're very happy.

Mark was fantastic! He was arrived on time and was knowledgeable and pleasant and for the job done quickly. I will definitely call him the next time I need an appliance repair.

Thad was great! My fridge went out sometime Sunday night/Monday morning, but I didn't know it until coming home from work on Monday evening...and it was full of groceries from a shopping trip on Sunday (of course!). By the time I got home and realized the inside of the fridge was warmer than the air in the kitchen it was 6:30...Apple Appliance's hours said 7pm and when I called, Thad answered the phone. He was able to schedule me for a 10am-2pm window the next day. I texted him a picture of the model number that evening and he showed up ready to go around 11am. He put his head in the freezer to listen (freezer was working, but fridge wasn't) and within about a minute knew what was wrong with it. Turns out it needed a new Control Board (which was almost half the cost of the entire repair, as you would assume for anything that runs computers/electronics). He pulled out the freezer drawer and went to work and had the whole thing finished in about a half an hour. He was professional, courteous, friendly and knowlegable and didn't mind explaining to me what he was doing along the way (which I love). I would definitely hire him again. BTW, I didn't rate the price I paid, as I was in emergency situation after most others had closed for the evening and only called one other place who was closed for the evening - I went on his already existing A reviews on Angie's List. He gets an A from me, too!
